Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. “Jersey Yard”, “we” and “us” mean the business operating jerseyyard.shop. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order. Our policies for shipping, returns and exchanges, refunds and privacy form part of these Terms.

1. Using the site

You may use this site to browse and buy products for your personal use and as gifts. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. Children may wear our jerseys, but a parent or other adult should place the order.

If you create an account, keep your password private and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on your account that you could reasonably have prevented.

2. Products, photos and descriptions

We describe our jerseys, apparel and tailgate gear as accurately as we can, including the cut, sizes, colours and what is printed on them. Product photos and the live personalisation preview are illustrations. Colours can look different on different screens, and the preview shows the position and style of your text rather than an exact print proof. The Size Guide explains how to choose a size; it is guidance, and bodies and preferences differ.

Every item is printed for your order. Product descriptions do not claim a country of manufacture; orders ship from the USA.

3. Prices and availability

All prices are shown in US dollars and include free shipping to our four delivery countries. Some sizes and optional personalisation fields carry an add-on, which is shown before you add the item to your cart. Jersey Yard does not collect sales tax at checkout. Import duties or taxes on parcels to Canada, Australia or New Zealand depend on the destination country’s rules.

We may change prices, products and colours at any time, but a change does not affect an order we have already accepted. If an obvious error in a price or description is found after you order, we will contact you before processing and you may cancel for a full refund.

4. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order you make an offer to buy the items in your cart. We send an order confirmation email when we receive it. A contract is formed when we confirm the order and take payment. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, for example if payment cannot be verified, if the shipping address is outside our delivery countries, or if personalisation text cannot be printed under section 9.

Personalised orders

Custom items carry text you provide in the fields on the product page, such as a name on the back and a number. You are responsible for checking that text before ordering. We print exactly what you type, in the lettering style you choose, and we do not send a proof or mockup before production. You can change your text within 24 hours of ordering, as described in Cancel or Change an Order.

5. Payment

Payment is due when you place your order, using one of the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are processed by the payment provider you choose, under its own terms. We do not store full card details. More information is on our Payment Methods page.

6. Shipping and risk

We ship only to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, free of charge. Orders are processed in 1-3 business days and are estimated to arrive in 7-14 business days after dispatch. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the shipping address you gave us. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us and we will help under our Shipping & Delivery policy.

7. Returns, refunds and cancellations

• You may cancel or change an order within 24 hours of placing it, if it has not been dispatched.
• You may return items within 60 days of delivery, for any reason, if they are unworn and unwashed. We provide a free return label, including for change-of-mind returns.
• Refunds are issued within 7 days of receiving your return, approving a claim or confirming a cancellation, to the original payment method. Store credit is available instead and never expires.

Full details are in our returns, refund and cancellation pages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

8. Discounts and promotions

We do not currently run public discount codes. If we offer a promotion in the future, its conditions will be shown with it. Codes have no cash value, cannot be combined unless stated, and only codes we issued are valid.

9. Personalisation content you submit

When you submit text for printing, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You must not ask us to print:

• names, logos, mascots, slogans or colour schemes of sports teams, leagues, colleges or other organisations you are not authorised to use;
• names or likenesses of professional or college athletes or other public figures;
• trademarks, brand names or copyrighted characters;
• text that is hateful, harassing, obscene or unlawful.

We may refuse or cancel any personalisation that we reasonably believe breaks this section, with a full refund for that item. Family names, first names, nicknames and numbers chosen by you are exactly what our custom products are for.

You keep any rights you have in the text you submit. You give us permission to use it only to produce, ship and support your order.

10. Intellectual property

The Jersey Yard name, logo, website design, product designs, graphics, photos and text on this site belong to Jersey Yard or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or sell them without our written permission. Our designs are generic sports designs and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by any team, league, college or player. See our Intellectual Property Policy and DMCA page.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, using automated tools to scrape or overload it, submitting false orders or claims, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.

12. Accounts, order history and communications

You can buy as a guest or create an account. An account lets you see your order history and saved addresses. We send emails that relate to your orders, such as confirmations, dispatch notices and replies to your messages; these are service emails and are part of fulfilling your order. We do not send marketing emails.

Support is provided by email at support@jerseyyard.shop, with replies within 24 hours on business days. We do not offer phone support, and we do not operate social media accounts, so messages claiming to come from a Jersey Yard social profile are not from us.

13. Product care and normal wear

Each product page includes care guidance, such as washing inside out in cold water. Following it helps the print last. Fading, pilling or cracking caused by heat, bleach, ironing directly on the print or ordinary long-term wear is not a defect. If you believe an item has a genuine defect, contact us within 60 days of delivery and we will review it under our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

14. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as severe weather, carrier disruptions, customs holds, natural disasters, power or internet outages, or actions of authorities. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you and, if the order cannot be fulfilled within a reasonable time, offer you a full refund.

15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, Jersey Yard is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed event, arising from your use of the site or a delay in delivery. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, and they do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a complaint, please email us first at support@jerseyyard.shop; most issues are solved quickly by email. If a dispute cannot be solved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live that give you the right to bring a claim locally.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order applies to that order. The date at the top shows the latest update.

18. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and Jersey Yard about your use of the site and your orders. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
